Fortnite Radar Guide: Player Tracking, Team Visualization, Distance Indicators, and Radar Customization

Fortnite radar guide for team colors, distance marks, render radius, orientation lock, and overlay size.

Fortnite radar is a mini-map overlay of players and bots. It does not replace world ESP. It answers “where is the next third party” without painting the whole screen.

Lite, Pro, and Elite all include it. You will usually run radar with a quiet box ESP, not with every snapline on.

Radar versus world ESP

World ESP is in the 3D scene. Radar is a 2D plot around you. Use ESP for the person in your box fight. Use radar for the squad rotating from the ridge.

The Fortnite ESP guide covers boxes and skeletons. Keep this page for the compact map.

Team visualizer and enemy colors

Radar team visualizer and separate enemy / team colors are how you avoid pinging your own duo. NPC or bot dots should use a third color if the mode is crowded with AI.

Distance visualizer adds rings or labels so a dot at 20 meters does not look like a dot at 150.

Render radius, render distance, auto scale

Render radius is how large the widget is on your HUD. Render distance is how far a player can be and still appear as a dot.

Automatic distance scaling shrinks or grows dots as people move in and out. Orientation lock keeps north-up instead of rotating with your camera. North-up is easier for callouts. Rotating radar is easier for “behind me” checks.

Alpha, player size, background color

Background alpha should stay low enough that you still see builds. Player size should stay small in endgame. A huge radar in moving zone is how you miss a ramp in front of your face.

Pair loot filters from the item ESP guide if you are landing contested and need both players and chests.

Radar ships with the same visual tiers you buy from Fortnite cheats.
